Selda Yildirim Naumann was born in Istanbul/Turkey in November 1982. Growing up in the 90's Turkey always had an impact on her creative mind. She decided to be a filmmaker when she was 12-13. While she was studying movies in school, she started to work on film sets at the same time to learn the practical side of the film business in 2005. And since then she is working in commercials and films as a 1st AD.
After met with Oliver Naumann who is also the producer of the 'Rumors', she moved to London in 2017 and started to focus on her own films and creative side.
She still lives and works in London &Turkey as a filmmaker and continues to produce what she loves. Currently, she is working on a documentary that focuses on Alewi belief ( religious belief in Turkey)
