Matthew Wade is an award-winning animator, illustrator,
filmmaker. After graduating from Vancouver Film School’s
Classical Animation program in 2010 Matthew moved to LA
and cut his teeth as a freelance commercial animator. He has
worked on animated content for Target, Vans, RCA Records,
Warner Brothers Records, the NFL, SCAD, SyFy Channel,
Foot Locker, the Brockhampton music video for “Sugar,” which
premiered via MTV in Times Square, and more.
Matthew’s films have premiered at Slamdance Film Festival (3
times), San Francisco International Film Festival, ExGround,
Alchemy Film & Arts, Maryland Film Festival, Rhode Island
International, Sun Valley Film Festival, and GIRAF, in
additional to several niche festivals and art installations/
galleries around the world.
