And the Animals Dance is the first entry in a series of 5 experimental animations (mute and sound which are part of an ongoing Digital project named L'Équation Humble, i.e The Humble Equation ). And The Animals Dance tries to illustrate the relationship between language and music by questioning the notion of event in a visual soundtrack. The animation has been done without script and without any intention, the calligraphic method called Semioia used here, consisted in seeing how the line intervenes itself as origin until forming the principle of event, testing what the eye is able to perceive or can see. to picture

I am a metaphysician and calligrapher. I am passionate about emptiness in philosophy and art by exploring how the dynamics of the Marvelous as the unfathomable character of life can unfold as an exploration protocol on the meaning and origin of manifestation. The way I perceive the world is an enchantment rooted in the universe of African fables that rocked me throughout my childhood in Cameroon and the syncretisms that I operate with my influences from Zen painting and the aesthetics of alphabets. My work develops, among other things, a methodological model of pure speculative hybridization of artistic and theoretical cognition by crossing the investigation techniques of the human sciences, philosophy, calligraphy, and experimental animation cinema. To do this, I work to develop a method and a calligraphic genre that I call Semioia (meaning contemplation of the Marvelous). I am currently pursuing my doctorate in research-creation at the University of Sherbrooke.
