I’m Kostas Spanoudakis, a filmmaker and film director. Born and raised in Chania, Greece. While my journey began in the field of Production and Management Engineering at the Technical University of Crete, my passion for storytelling and visual artistry led me down a different path.
From a young age, I found solace behind the lens, crafting my own cinematic narratives with nothing but sheer determination and a camera in hand. At 21, I made the bold decision to pivot from engineering to pursue my dream of filmmaking. During my studies I created 2 short films, which both found success in many film festivals. The most notable moment was the "Best Cinematography" Award at the 46th Drama International Short Film Festival.
