3 Seconds is a philosophical sci-fi short that questions the nature of time, memory, and consciousness. It explores whether a single dream can be measured, and what it means to seek immortality in a digital age. As humanity attempts to upload itself into an eternal, ever-ticking system, the film asks whether this is true transcendence or a self-inflicted prison — an endless dream state where awakening becomes impossible. Through its haunting narrative, 3 Seconds contrasts the allure of one eternal dream with the fragile beauty of many brief, human ones, inviting the viewer to reconsider what it really means to live.

Ο Ville Mäkäräinen είναι μουσικός και διευθυντής της ανεξάρτητης δισκογραφικής Luova Records. Ville Mäkäräinen is a musician and the director of the indie record label Luova Records. He holds a degree in cultural anthropology. In recent years, he has devoted most of his time to music — performing in various bands, producing and promoting artists. Film and theatre have long been his passions, and 3 Seconds marks his first serious venture into short filmmaking.
