The main character of the documentary film "Pro Shamiram" Aida Simon is a dancer, actress, choreographer, teacher and a fitness bikini model. She works any job that she can just to stay afloat. We witness her as she prepares for the play "Pro Shamiram". The plot of the play is based on the ancient Armenian legend "Ara the Beautiful and Shamiram", which tells the story of the powerful Assyrian queen Shamiram who falls in love with the Armenian king Ara the Beautiful. Dilemma in Aida’s life transmits through the play and she becomes “Shamiram”.
