In a world where everybody wears emoticon masks, Nick meets Sophie, a woman that dares to express her feelings through her own face. The life of Nick will drastically change by having feelings that emoticons cannot describe.

Ο Παναγιώτης Κουντουράς γεννήθηκε στη Θεσσαλονίκη και είναι φοιτητής της Σχολής Καλών Τεχνών του Τμήματος Κινηματογράφου του Α.Π.Θ. Δραστηριοποιείται ως σκηνοθέτης/κινηματογραφιστής με διεθνή φεστιβαλική παρουσία και βραβεύσεις. Είναι δημιουργός των ταινιών «Αφανείς Ήρωες» και «Ξύλινο Κουτί». Εργάζεται στο χώρο της διαφήμισης αλλά και της τηλεόρασης ως παραγωγός/παρουσιαστής τηλεοπτικών προγραμμάτων. Παράλληλα, διδάσκει σε εκπαιδευτικά προγράμματα για τον κινηματογράφο. Τέλος, είναι συγγραφέας του θεατρικού μιούζικαλ "I Have a Dream" και του μυθιστορήματος "Ελα σε μένα".

Panagiotis Kountouras is a student at Film Studies Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
HEROES OF THE FLICKS is his first documentary feature film (14th Thessaloniki TDF Official Selection), receiving exceptional reviews, cinema & television broadcast. In 2014, he directed/edited the short film A BOX MADE OF WOOD, winning the Best Editing award at FILME 2015. In 2015, he edited the action feature film BAD START and the documentary THE VILLAGE THAT DEFEATED DEATH.
He is involved in the Branding and Marketing Industry as a director/editor, creating corporate videos and TV commercials. He has created music videos for acclaimed Greek and foreign artists (Thodoris Voutsikakis, Gus G, Firewind).
He has worked for Greek Television, directing and line producing the daily show HAPPY COOK for SKAI Television (86 episodes), CINEMA WITHOUT SCARF for TV100 (broadcasting for two seasons) and SELFIE for ERT (filming).
In 2016 he collaborated with the Thessaloniki International Film Festival as a film director for the Euforia Programme (Media Founded - Creative Europe), directing seven short documentary productions.
In 2017 he directed the documentary TV Series MY NAME IS NOT REFUGEE (TV100), official selection for INPUT 2017. At the same year he was selected to be the president of the Youth Jury at 19th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival. His new documentary film BLACK COMEDY is in post-production.
