This is an experimental video about involuntary body movements in humans. It's a series of visual metaphors juxtaposed with literal images of some of these gestures, that pretend to explore how we perceive them and think of them whether they're normal or not.
I'm a Visual Artist from Bogotá, Colombia currently based in Vancouver. I studied Fine Arts at Los Andes University, and the National University of Colombia for 3 years from 2008 to 2011. I continued my career as a self-taught artist getting more into video art production and animation. This interest leaded me to moving to Canada where I am now an Animation Student at Emily Carr University in Vancouver B.C. My current field of work is mostly CG animation, although I produce from time to time traditional animation pieces too.
