The rapid urbanisation of my city-Buea has now placed the natural vegetation that once bloomed at risk of extinction. Global warming is threatening. Hence, resorting to greening the city as a solution, the people embarked on the planting of numerous tree species along the streets most of which are alien and fast-growing, invasive and toxic, ornamental and fruity while others are yet unknown. TAXONOMY 101 is therefore a student research project that probes in to discover these plants by their scientific names, expose hidden facts about them using the Internet and cautioning tree-planting from becoming another environmental Time Bomb.

I inspire environmentally sound practices by getting the public involved in works through inspirational media content which include songs and documentaries that endless pressing environmental issues. This basically is how I work for sustainable development.
