Yannis Zafeiriou is an award-winning director, born and raised in Athens, Greece. With a university education in the UK, he worked in Athens for a decade before eventually moving to Los Angeles, where he now lives and works.
His storytelling style is rooted in Magical Realism. He often infuses a little sense of absurdist humour, science-fiction, fantasy, and the supernatural into the ordinary lives of the characters.
Yannis has a thing for penguins, but it’s strictly platonic.
