This is the story of Virginia, 7 years old, who steals a Madonna little statue from a Museum in a village in the South of Italy. She believes it does miracles. The statue needs to be returned. However, Virginia cannot do that as she gave it away to someone who really needs it…

PAOLA MANNO, born in 1980, grandaughter of Italian coal miners, graduated at the University of Lecce in Italian Literature. She completed her Masters in Writing for Cinema (ELICIT) at the University of Brussels, where she directed her second documentary “Salento terra di popoli”, produced by The Dardenne Brothers. She subsequently worked for the MEDIA Programme of the European Union for 2 years.
In 2010 she went back in Italy where she directed several documentaries in digital format.
“La guerra dei mariti”, produced by Minerva Pictures and Istituto Luce, won the Nastro d’Argento in Taormina Film Festival in 2012.
