I am Hooman Naderi and I'm 28 years old. From 2010, I’ve been studying Cinema at Iranian Youth Cinema Association and I hold a MA in the History of Arts and at the moment, I am a PHD student. I'm really fond of mythology studies and mainly, I try to reflect them in my cinematic ideology. I'm interested in photography and mostly, I use my camera to record the moments with Iranian traditional and social coloring. I’m passionate about filmmaking and in my own opinion, we should make films for taking a positive step towards the worldwide peace and unbreakable unity among nations. “I am Zal” is my first short film based on a short story written by “Dave Plezer” named “A Child Called it” which was produced in 2018.
