At sixteen I wrote an essay on my thoughts on a touchy topic. I won the state speech/literary competition. It was then that I realized that writing is my way of expression.
Over the years I have published inspirational books, motivational journals, a children's book, adult coloring book as well as a book of short stories on race and the fight for justice.
I have written screen plays in the following genres: Drama, Thriller, Children/pre-teen, and Sci-Fi. In addition I have a completed TV pilot ( drama). In 2017 I served as an Executive Producer of a Theatrical play based off one of my books.
I wrote and produced the short animation film 'JollyBird' inspired by my children's book on mental illness.
I write tough topics in hopes of jumpstarting needed conversations.
