"closet" is an experimental film, shot in quarantine and used only the clothes from the director's personal collection in her closet.
The film, visually demostrates some thoughts that visits the creator while alone in home. Presenting the phycology of most people nowdays, trying to pursue something that does not exist, pushing fast towards the game of life, and losing the true meaning of personal growth.

Diana Chemeris was born in Russia and raised in Greece. She studied Music Arts in Music School of Greece, attended Creative Writing classes and got her BA in Media and Film Productions from Queen Margaret University. She followed the industry of fashion around the world as a model. Her passion in creating gave her a voice. Her creations, movies, scripts and essays tend to speak about the inner needs of human feelings and uncomfortable circumstances of reality that someone may encounter.

Director Statement
We live in difficult times to express our real inner thoughts, trying to hide the uncomfortable truth of existance.
Closet is an experiment, a bet that I put on myself. While in lockdown, thoughts are running out. There is no way out, only inside. The stuff surounding you, becomes a possible inspiration for creation. Every fabric becomes a way to show your emotion, every color translate a word. The costumes that I created from the deepest drawers in my personal collection, was made to explain a personal truth or an image that the world can understand and relate.
"Closet" was a great experience to introduse myself and my inner insecurities through my personal closet.
