"Ware the Buffalo Roams" invites you on a journey through the life and music of Terry Ware, a homegrown talent from Woodward, Oklahoma,
Shot by the talented students of Rose State College during a summer internship under the guidance of Professors John Marshall and Toni Sellars, this documentary delves deep into the legacy of a man whose music is as diverse as the Oklahoma skies.
In the 1970s, Terry Ware began his musical journey by performing at high school dances in his hometown of Woodward, Oklahoma. He rose to national acclaim with appearances on "The David Letterman Show," the 2005 Grammys, and countless other stages nationwide.
But Ware's story is not his alone. This film brings together legendary voices like Ray Wylie Hubbard, Butch Hancock, and many other renowned musicians who share their stories working with Terry, their music, and their connections to Terry Ware.
Today, from his home in Norman, Oklahoma, Terry continues to nurture the next generation of musicians.

• BS in Communications from Oklahoma City University (OCU), over 12 hours of
master's level courses in computer science and was one class short of a second
degree in German from OCU.
• In 1974, I started my career as a television sports photographer for KOCO
television in Oklahoma City.
• Moved to Austin Texas in 1987. Owned and operated Austin Video Bureau until
2004.
• Bureau chief for KTRK (ABC-Houston) from 1991 to 2001. Active freelancer for
all major US television networks/cable channel, and many others worldwide.
• Moved to Idaho accepted a position as Visualization Engineer for the Air
Warefare Battlelab 2004 - 2008
• Freelancer - Owned and operated Idaho Media Connection.
• President/Board Chairman Idaho Media Professionals 2010-2011. Leader of a
professional organization to mentor and teach local media professionals.
Coordinated and officiated monthly meetings with over 150 members of the Idaho
Film Industry
• Mountain Home Air Force Base Honorary Wing Commander 2008-2010.
• President/Board Chairman Mountain Home Air Force Base Military Appreciation
