Black Lace is a short film about female friendship.
Deeply inspired by Daisies (1966) it takes a
refreshing look at the dynamics of the friendship
between two young women.
Mel and Xan decide to do whatever their heart
desires, defying the rules and rejecting social
stereotypes. They go out whenever they want, eat
voraciously, laugh non-stop, leave red lipstick
marks everywhere and enjoy each other's company
