G3N3SIS is an experimental AI-assisted animation that tells an alternative, female-centered, mythology.
It will be a journey that begins with the creation of the world and the black Eve by a female deity, it follows the exile of women in the patriarchal world by the jealous biblical god, the women's revolution and liberation, the creation of the new type of men and it ends with the apotheosis of the androgynous, the divine Hermaphrodite.
The image is inspired by classical European painting, the overall style is post-renaissance yet hyperrealistic. Unexpected associations, metaphysical atmpsphere, biomorphic connections of organic and inorganic, mystical symbolism, mythological figures and references, constant transformations and dark eroticism. All these elements fit perfectly with the new artistic possibilities of the cutting-edge techniques we have used.

I was born in Athens in 1962. I graduated from the Physics Department of the School of Physics and Mathematics of the Athens Kapodistrian University. After my graduation I engaged in painting with related studies at the Plaka school. I belong to the first generation of Greek artists who dealt with 3D Animation, with stereoscopic animation and - more recently - with A.I. animation.
I have collaborated with many companies in the field of advertising, television production and multimedia (indicatively Movielab, Stefi, Kino, Smart Media, Profit, TVS, EXODUS etc.) From 1991 to 2009 I was the director and supervising professor at 3D Animation sections of the Intergraphics school, which were created after my own design.

I participated in many Greek and international productions (for television and cinema) as an animator artist and as a CGI artist. Member of the Hellenic Film Academy (EAK) and ASIFA (Association Internationale du Film d'Animation)

In the last decade I have been dealing almost exclusively with the production and direction of artistic animation, mainly for an adult audience. My main interest was and is the bridging of classic visual arts and cinema.
