Η ταινία «Rosemary» σε μεταφέρει σε έναν κόσμο όπου η τέχνη συναντά την αγάπη.
Ο Στέφανος, μέσα από την ποίησή του, αγγίζει την καρδιά του νεαρού ζωγράφου Παύλου, και μαζί αναπτύσσουν μια μοναδική γλώσσα επικοινωνίας, ζώντας μια ρομαντική και αγνή σχέση.
Όταν η οικογένεια του Παύλου ανακαλύπτει τον δεσμό τους, καταφεύγει σε βασανιστικές μεθόδους για να τον «καθαρίσει» από τον «δαίμονα» που πιστεύουν ότι κατοικεί μέσα του.
Η ταινία αντιπαραβάλλει την ομορφιά του αληθινού ρομαντισμού με τη συντριπτική μεταμόρφωση που προκαλεί ο συναισθηματικός ακρωτηριασμός, οδηγώντας τελικά τον πρωταγωνιστή σε ένα ταξίδι που καταλήγει στην απώλεια της λογικής του.

“Rosemary” transports you to a world where art meets love. Stefanos, with his poetry, touches the heart of the young painter, Pavlos, and together they develop a unique language of communication, living a romantic and innocent relationship. When Pavlos’s family discovers their bond, they resort to excruciating methods to “purify” him from the “demon” they believe dwells within. The film juxtaposes the beauty of true romanticism with the devastating transformation brought about by emotional castration, ultimately leading the protagonist on a journey that culminates in the loss of his sanity

Ο Αλέξανδρος Μαράκης είναι μια πολυδιάστατη καλλιτεχνική προσωπικότητα που συνδυάζει το πάθος του για το θέατρο, τον κινηματογράφο, τη μουσική και την ποίηση. Είναι απόφοιτος της δραματικής σχολής «Νέο Ελληνικό Θέατρο Γιώργου Αρμένη» και του τμήματος «Λαϊκής και Παραδοσιακής Μουσικής», ενώ κατέχει πτυχία Πιάνου, Κλασικού Τραγουδιού και Αρμονίας.
Τα πολυετή χρόνια σπουδών του, σε συνδυασμό με την καλλιτεχνική του εμπειρία, έχουν θεμελιώσει μια στιβαρή βάση γνώσεων και δεξιοτήτων που αποτυπώνονται σε κάθε του έργο.

Έχει σκηνοθετήσει με επιτυχία παραγωγές τόσο στο θέατρο όσο και στον κινηματογράφο, ενώ έχει ενσαρκώσει πλήθος ρόλων ως ηθοποιός σε αναρίθμητες θεατρικές παραστάσεις. Το έργο του χαρακτηρίζεται από μια αυθεντική, σχεδόν βιωματική αφήγηση, που μεταδίδει συναισθήματα πέρα από το συνηθισμένο.

Το 2025 ολοκλήρωσε την πρώτη του μεγάλου μήκους ταινία με τίτλο «Rosemary», ένα έργο που σηματοδοτεί ένα νέο κεφάλαιο στην καριέρα του και αναδεικνύει το ιδιαίτερο όραμά του για την κινηματογραφική αφήγηση.

Alexandros Marakis is a multifaceted artistic personality who combines his passion for theatre, cinema, music, and poetry. He is a graduate of the “Neo Elliniko Theatro George Armenis” drama school and the “Folk and Traditional Music” department, and he holds degrees in Piano, Classical Singing, and Harmony. His many years of study, along with his artistic experience, have established a solid foundation of knowledge and skills that shine through in every work.
He has successfully directed productions in both theatre and cinema and has embodied numerous roles as an actor in countless theatrical performances. His work is characterized by an authentic, almost experiential narrative that conveys emotions beyond the ordinary.
In 2025, he completed his first feature film, “Rosemary” a work that marks a new chapter in his career and highlights his unique vision for cinematic storytelling.
