Aris Zissimatos was born in Patras in 1961. He is an architect, photographer and filmmaker. He taught at A.A.S. of Thessaloniki and AKTO of Athens. His photographs have been distinguished and published in magazines and newspapers.
He has directed two documentaries: "We first call George" (2017) and "Missing words" (2018), which won honorary praise at the 6th Aegeandocs Festival for the contribution of the film to the defense of freedom of expression in Iran.
