The 6th AIDFF awards ceremony brings the curtain down on another hugely successful festival, which was held from 2 to 8 February 2017. More than 150 films, from 30 countries, were screened during the Festival’s week, including 60 premieres. The Festival screens all the typical film categories of New Cinema such as short and feature fiction films, video art, video dance, experimental, short and feature Documentaries. In collaboration with the British MMBF institution the festival awarded one of the winners with the Rising Star Award. This special prize is supported and provided by the British MMBF Trust, which is an international fund set up to support young people with an interest to follow a career in the film industry.

 Το 6ο Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Ψηφιακού Κινηματογράφου Αθήνας AIDFF θα διεξαχθεί από τις 2 έως τις 8 Φεβρουαρίου του 2017. Θα φιλοξενήσει πάνω από 150 ταινίες από 30 χώρες, ενώ 60 από αυτές θα κάνουν την πρεμιέρα τους στην Ελλάδα Στο φεστιβάλ περιλαμβάνονται όλες οι κατηγορίες του Νέου Σινεμά: Μυθοπλασία μικρού και μεγάλου μήκους, video art, video dance, experimental, ντοκιμαντέρ μικρού και μεγάλου μήκους. Το Φεστιβάλ αξιοποιώντας την διεθνή αναγνώριση θα απονείμει, για δεύτερη φορά, και το βραβείο Rising Star Award, σε συνεργασία με το βρετανικό ίδρυμα MMBF. Το βραβείο Σκηνοθεσίας χορηγεί η Εταιρεία Ελλήνων Σκηνοθετών, ενώ η ΑΛΚΥΟΝΊΣ New Star Art Cinema θα διασφαλίσει σε βραβευθέντα από το Φεστιβάλ διανομή για τρεις ταινίες του.

The 6th Athens International Digital Film Festival AIDFF will be held in Athens from 2 to 8 of February 2017. More than 150 films will be screened during the festival, more than 30 countries will participate, and for at least 60 films it will be their Premiere, as many directors chose this festival for their film ’s most important screening. The festival includes all typical categories of New Cinema such as short and feature fiction films, video art, video dance, experimental, animation, short and feature documentaries.

You can submit your participation for the 6th Athens International Digital  Film Festival AIDFF. Our Festival, while progressing the idea of digital cinema, concludes fiction films, documentaries, animation, video art, video dance, experimental and student films that were created by using new digital media.

Στίς 30 Σεπτεμβρίου Ξεκίνάει η περίοδος υποβολής αιτήσεων συμμετοχής στο 6ο Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Ψηφιακού Κινηματογράφου Αθήνας AIDFF .Το Φεστιβάλ, προωθώντας την ιδέα του ψηφιακού κινηματογράφου περιλαμβάνει ταινίες μυθοπλασίας, τεκμηρίωσης, κινουμένων σχεδίων πειραματικές, video art , video dance και σπουδαστικές ταινίες που δημιουργήθηκαν με την χρήση των νέων ψηφιακών μέσων .
