This is an animation made by two colleagues in Kyoto. After deciding the motifs that Kyoto is famous for, they drew in relay and each shot the film, with director Maya Yonesho working on the editing. Looking at what was drawn for each, the differences in illustration style gives flavor to the attractions.
Maya was born in Hyogo prefecture and is a creator of hand-drawn experimental animations made to accompany words, music and landscapes. Traveling to various locations to create her animations in situ, her current" Daumenreise" series features 19 countries over her 29 films.

This red brick has been a part of the harbor mansion for 100 years, continuously watching changes in the harbor take place. From here it can see something square-shaped and sparkling, so, wanting to know what this is, one day it decides to sneak away from the wall.
"Yuichi has worked on the Mister Donut's "Pon de Lion" CM, Ken Hirai's "Kimi wa Tomodachi" ("You are my friend") MV, and Shochiku's 100th Anniversary video "Norabittsu Minitsu", along with
numerous other projects. He is the representative creator of the Puchi Puchi anime "Nyakki!", celebrating its 17th anniversary this year."

Yuki graduated from Columbia College, Hollywood. His film "Triangulation Point" won the Audience Award and Jury Special Mention Award at SSFF 2004. At SSFF & ASIA 2009, Yuki won the Audience Award again with" Kakure-Oni-The Ogre of the Red Moon," and was rated highly by international film festivals. His feature movie debut was "Re:Play-Girls" in summer 2010.

This film depicts a false world that is forged according to the nature and the beauty that humans know. Born of the words crystallized in the meaningless poem "LI.LI.TA.AL", it is a ritual that sends us back to a former place.
Akihito is a filmmaker who has been making interactive films at Studio Mangosteen since 1996, whilst also showing films via installations. As of 2005, he began creating animations." LI.LI.TA.AL" is his fifth animation work.

Born in Fukuoka prefecture in 1985, Toshiko enrolled in the Film School of Tokyo in 2006. In 2009, she graduated from the Department of Crafts in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Tokyo University of the Arts, later completing a course in the Department of Animation at their Graduate School of Film and Media in 2011.

Shunsaku was born in Osaka in 1992, but now lives in London. In 2007, he won the Encouragement Prize at the Agency of Cultural Affairs' Japan Media Arts Festival. From 2006 until 2011, whilst in Osaka, he held five exhibitions in Tokyo. In 2011, his short film was nominated at Krakow Film Festival.

Koichi was born in 1963. He is the president of NEKONOTE-DO. Mainly relating to toys, he is involved with the creation of various designs and modeling, and works on films that make use of CG.
