Luís Damas, was born in Portugal in 1961.
He danced in Ballet Gulbenkian from 1982 to 2001, where he was 1st ballet dancer, working with countless teachers and international renowned choreographers. Also he was principal guest dancer with CPBC -Companhia Portuguesa de Bailado Contemporâneo in the years 2002 and 2003. He developed his career simultaneously as a choreographer, having created dances for Dutch National Ballet, Ballet Gulbenkian, among others. He participated in several National and International contests wants in the extent of the interpretation / choreography, wants in the extent of the video, having already won several awards. He also developed his career in the art of teaching dance.
